Mario在駐村期間對於新竹市的街景人物，留下深刻印象：人車鼎沸的街道，新舊夾雜的建築，車燈和各式招牌霓虹，都是藝術家在駐村期間認識的新竹印象。
採用俯瞰視角，Mario把他感官所及的各式印象，透過線條、筆觸、色塊，在鄰近牆面上勾勒出他心目中，原汁原味的地景風貌。
During his stay as a resident artist, Mario got to know, and was profoundly impressed by, the characteristics of Hsinchu’s street scene: the hectic streets with people and vehicles, the mishmash of old and new buildings, the car lights and neon signs aplenty.
By using birds-eye view to depict various different impressions, the lines, brush-strokes and colors outline Mario’s state of mind in a genuine form of landscape scenes painted on walls adjacent to each other.
